Festival Noël is Grand Bahama’s signature holiday event—a lively celebration of community, culture, and conservation. Hosted annually on the first Friday in December by The Bahamas National Trust (BNT), this event brings together locals, visitors, artists, chefs, and musicians for an unforgettable evening of festive fun and philanthropy. Now in its 29th year, Festival Noël has become a beloved tradition that signals the start of the holiday season in Grand Bahama.
Festival Noël isn’t just a night out; it’s an opportunity to support the BNT’s work on Grand Bahama. All proceeds from the event directly fund the management and conservation of the island’s three national parks—Rand Nature Centre, Lucayan National Park, and Peterson Cay National Park. Through your attendance and contributions, we’re able to maintain these parks, protect local biodiversity, and educate the community on the importance of conservation.
Festival Noël highlights the island’s best talent in culinary arts, music, and artistry each year. From the Chef and Sweet Noël Competitions featuring top chefs and bakers to the Wheel of Joy Raffle and live music performances, every aspect of the festival is designed to showcase the creativity of Grand Bahama. Local artisans display handcrafted works, musicians provide energetic performances, and chefs offer delicious samples, creating a festive, immersive experience that celebrates Bahamian culture. Additionally, Jimmy’s Wine & Spirits provides an incredible array of wines from around the world for attendees to sample.
