The Bahamas National Trust (BNT) is the dedicated steward of The Bahamas’ national park system. These national parks are not just scenic landscapes; they are vital ecosystems that protect our unique biodiversity and cultural heritage.

They safeguard endangered species, serve as living laboratories for scientific research, offer educational opportunities and promote responsible tourism, enhancing local economies. Furthermore, these parks are invaluable spaces for recreation and mental well-being, providing natural sanctuaries where people can connect with nature and escape the hustle and bustle of daily life.

The Wine & Art Festival is one of several annual events hosted by the BNT devoted to raising funds that support the management and maintenance of the 33 national parks currently under BNT’s management. The festival is more than a gathering of people that appreciate art, wine and culture- it’s a celebration of our natural heritage and a crucial effort to conserve and protect it for generations to come. All proceeds from the event go directly towards the management of Bahamian national parks and throughout the years, the festival has raised substantial funds for conservation.

These funds have enabled critical initiatives such as: protecting endangered wildlife, enhancing visitor facilities in parks, and conducting essential research and monitoring. Every ticket purchased, every art piece admired, and every glass of wine savoured at Wine & Art directly contributes to our mission.

In addition to supporting the environment and national parks, Wine & Art also supports local artists and the art and entertainment industry in The Bahamas. The festival leverages Bahamian talent, providing a platform for both seasoned and upcoming artists, local vendors, and entertainers.
